- Preparation of statutory and annual accounts from records supplied by a range of clients.
- Manage client accounts and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and provide tax advice to clients.
- Support the development and maintenance of client relationships.
- Oversee junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.
- A successful Accounts Senior should have a recognised qualification in accounting or a related field (ACCA/ACA).
- Proficient in the preparation of statutory and annual accounts for a variety of clients including SMEs and limited companies under UK GAAP, primarily FRS 102.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £52,000.
