- Capable of demonstrating a working knowledge of problem solving, fault finding, and analysis using a range of standard practices and techniques.
- Possesses a working knowledge of job specific technical theory and practices, basic knowledge of general theory and analysis techniques.
- Reads and understands electronic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facilities schematics. Has the ability to repair electronic circuitry to the board level.
- Understands and is technically capable using various types of commercial and vendor proprietary software in the process of repairing production equipment.
- Maintains hazardous and inert gas handling systems to include cylinder changes. Orders parts and materials that are required to complete assigned tasks.
- Helps to train fellow technicians on tasks they are certified to do.
- Basic understanding of chemistry and the hazards of working with and around chemicals.
- Repairs and maintains chemical and solvent handling equipment.
- Repairs and calibrates process equipment requiring high vacuum equipment and associated support systems.
- Responsible for spare and repair parts ordering.
- Performs daily checks and inspections.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Specific equipment knowledge for the Etch
- AMAT Centura DPS/ASP, AMAT Centura MxP, Lam 4420, Ulvac Optima, SSEC 3300, and JST Automated Wet Bench
- Must have 5+ years of Equipment Maintenance experience and be willing to learn and perform maintenance in other areas of the Fab.
- Training in the handling of hazardous chemicals, gases, and materials.
- Associates degree in Electronics preferred.
- Must be physically capable of standing/walking up to 12 hours per shift.
- Ability to work in unusually warm or cold environments.
- Frequently required to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and squat.
- Must be able to maneuver in areas of confined width and height or space, working in or around cramped mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazardous work spaces.
Shift: 12 hour compressed shifts. Day, front-half. 7am-7pm

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $31 to $39.
- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
- This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
- Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
