With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Node.js / Next.js / Typescript) to join our team in Camarillo, CA as an Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize work based on Website Roadmap and Website Maintenance Queue.
  • Contribute ideas on how to improve digital experience (UI/UX)
  • Develop scripts and automations to improve WCMS efficiency
  • Optimize code simplicity, efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborates with the team to convert business requirements into an exceptional digital experience (speed, simplicity, aesthetics).
  • Writing super-clean code and using best-practice design patterns with modern development technologies (Headless/Hybrid) to deliver highly responsive and decoupled digital properties
  • Maintain the Hygiena brand.
  • Support Sr. Full-stack developer with Dev Ops processes and tasks like running backups, maintaining code base and centralized library of reusable components.
  • Write scripts to conduct maintenance tasks and automate processes.
  • Collaborate with Hygiena's internal IT team on SSL Certs, DNS entries, and other network tasks associated with our websites.
  • Collaborate within the E-business team, align on shared values and help to maintain and improve the development process and structure while maintaining clear documentation, always striving for consistency and work excellence.
  • Contributor to Mar Tech stack decision-making.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly technical performance reports for all digital properties: speed, uptime, code efficiency, etc.
  • Own technical implementation of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and other tracking mechanisms to support web analytics and marketing campaign reporting.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer creating web applications
  • 3+ years of experience using React (Next.js) and Node.js with Typescript to build scalable web applications
  • Strong front-end skills, including mobile-first development, with an ability to convert designed visuals to high-performance responsive components
  • Expert in Node.js to build backend services and APIs (Graph

    QL and REST API)
  • Expert in writing clean, maintainable HTML and CSS using Tailwind CSS and SCSS
  • Expert in database technology such as Mongo

    DB and MySQL
  • Expert in Implementing Web Analytics with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
  • Familiarity with Drupal as a backend CMS within a headless environment
  • Proficient in Git/Git Hub workflows
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with agile and Dev Ops (dev, stage, production deployment)
  • Bonus skills:
    Python and SVGs
