Technician – Level 1 – Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.

Technician 1

• Preventively maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, hydraulic, electrical, and specialty line equipment such as generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas units.
• Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models, and equipment to prepare for a career track in service or operations management.
• Work with an incredible team in a safety‑focused environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment.

• Possibly provide tools of trade.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location.

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

$33.00 – $38.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
