Overview
Summary:
Sales Representative is responsible for handling wholesale customer accounts and negotiating sales at Glass House cultivation facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle customer relationships with patience and integrity
- Strong focus on Glass House recognition and reputation within the industry
- Provide excellent customer service representing Glass House values and standards
- Continuously improve process and communication
- Work with customers to understand their specific needs and product usage
- Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
- Conduct sales on site to ensure smooth delivery
- Maintain all contacts within CRM
- Track all sales interactions clearly and intelligibly in CRM
- Vet all customers for full DCC compliance, and maintain organization of all documentation
- Create customer wide e-mail information blasts to update on pricing/strains and any Glass House Farms news
- Coordinate transportation of product to internal supply chain customers
- Input Sales Orders in Business Central
- Send test results and product information to customers upon request
- Send invoices to customers and AR updates
- Support Sales Team in hitting monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Follow proper accounting procedures for sales, working closely with Finance and Inventory teams
- Provide Accounting department with assistance on AR, consignment, and billing
Required:

- Must be personable, organized and have a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and improvise
- Strong people skills and flexibility within a team
- Ability to conduct professional communication via phone, text, and email
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or Hub Spot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
- Willingness to work weekends
- Ability to work in conditions typically found in a greenhouse with high humidity and varying temperatures, with a fair amount of moisture present
- Ability to exert up to 15-50 pounds occasionally in order to lift and move product
- Ability to balance, reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/ or ladder
- Ability to crouch, grasp and lift product above shoulders in order to lift product from the floor properly
- Ability to be on feet while performing job responsibilities
