Role Overview
Assistant Store Manager for Stor Quest Self Storage.
Responsibilities- Assist guests during challenging times and provide exceptional experiences.
- Act as the first‑line representative for customers in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Maintain daily operations: revenue and delinquency management, occupancy, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Manage the rental process: convert sales, take payments, sell merchandise, offer insurance, assist with truck rentals, collect past‑due accounts, and guide customers through the journey.
- Perform operational activities: daily store inspections (including lock checks), facility maintenance, custodial duties, vendor coordination, cash handling, receipt balancing, posting payments, processing bank deposits, and postal services.
- 1+ year of customer service or sales experience.
- Tech‑savvy and proficient with point‑of‑sale/management systems.
- Experience in cash handling and financial transactions.
- Available on weekends and able to work evenings when needed.
- Strong passion for guest service, sales, and team collaboration.
- Positive, outgoing personality with an insatiable appetite for learning.
- Strong accountability and work ethic combined with enthusiasm for teamwork.
- Experience in retail or service industry preferred.
- Walk, bend, stand, and stoop frequently.
- Lift up to 35 lbs, push up to 50 lbs, and lift items above head.
- Work evenings and weekends as required.
- Operate tools and maintenance equipment with manual dexterity.
- Communicate written and verbal effectively.
- Salary: $19.00 – $19.50 per hour + bonus potential.
