Overview
Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for Manufacturing Tumbler Operator for our Camarillo, CA location. This position is responsible for washing parts through a tumbling process. Operator will be responsible for following the work instructions and procedures provided by leadership and engineering.
CompensationHourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $18.00 - $19.00 (DOE)
Work Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least three (3) months experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment
- Good math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience
- Prior experience in an electronic component manufacturing environment
- Mix parts in rubber bowls and wash with water and alumina powder or media, then properly dry parts.
- Clean, sift broken and double parts then inspect parts for chip outs or any defects
- Use scale to weight parts after process is completed
- Write MRB's (Material Review Board) on the traveler, when required
- Work area is to be kept clean and neat at all times.
- Housekeeping chores will be performed as assigned.
- Washing parts up to 90% of shift
- Standing/Walking up to 90%, and sitting up to 10% of shift
- Bending/ twisting neck, bending/ twisting waist, up to 90% of shift
- Occasionally stoop and/or bend at the waist.
- Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, pull, and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability.
- Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
This job operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and will occasionally be exposed to hot working environment. This role is exposed to chemicals and will use protective equipment such as: apron, gloves, and eyewear (when cleaning). This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers and photocopiers
