Responsibilities- Handle all leads equally, with respect and empathy.
- Resolve conflicts between peers, report them, and follow up if needed.
- Delegate non‑critical tasks such as sharpening scissors, cleaning clamshells, and other routine duties.
- Motivate all leads to maximize production and maintain a stable work environment.
- Demonstrate integrity with a "do the right thing" attitude.
- React quickly to resolve problems.
- Educate and train new leads on processes, cleanliness, quality, data entry, and organization.
- Plan for the week; ensure tools, equipment, and PPE ready.
- Monitor quality specifications; hold leads accountable; report quality issues to management.
- Review and verify data entered by leads; ensure accurate weight match; investigate discrepancies and report to manager.
- Keep work area organized, clean, labeled with compliance in mind.
- Complete required compliance and Metrc training.
- Understand material usage costs and job cost implications.
- Read and learn all SOPs within the department.
- Create scheduling for leads and key positions (start times, breaks, ends).
- Follow workplan; communicate adjustments and seek manager approval before changes.
- Coordinate transport for product and material deliveries.
- Work on process improvements and overall performance efficiencies.
- Maintain product quality and adherence to SOPs.
- Approve sick leave and vacation for leads and key positions.
- Cover for leads when necessary.
- Ensure accurate data and report any issues to the manager.
- Create a safe work environment; report incidents to the Safety Officer.
- Follow up on equipment maintenance.
- Report employee issues to the labor agency supervisor.
- Rotate with other supervisors for weekend and shift coverage.
- Communicate with other supervisors for coverage.
- Assist manager in driving the department toward continuous improvement.
- May cover multiple areas or departments as needed.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the manager.
- Prior cannabis or management experience (mandatory).
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs.
- High school graduate or college/university education (preferred).
- Age 21 or older.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to write and communicate effectively with the entire team.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move 15-50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Ability to use the tools necessary to perform work tasks. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 15-50 pounds.

They must complete daily, and weekly goals set by the manager. A Supervisor must see problems before they happen on topics such as safety, cleanliness, production, and quality.
They must speak to their leads with intention to resolve issues, with empathy, and provide guidance on the concerns.
