Position: Clinical Supervisor I

Wage band range $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. However, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Position is eligible for Bilingual pay incentive.

Position is eligible for $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!! Paid at 90-day, 6-months, 12-months and 18-months of active service.

Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, or designee, the Clinical Supervisor I is responsible for clinical supervision and professional development of registered and licensed clinicians providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and families being served. The Clinical Supervisor manages a caseload of assigned clients when needed and carries out Casa Pacifica's mission in relation to clinical assessment, evaluation, and mental health treatment of the youth.

Credentials

Clinical Supervisor I: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist. Must be eligible for licensure in California.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision, oversight, and consultation to supervises to ensure ethical and best practice standards are met.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete supervision records and state board-required documentation.
  • Provide clinical services (individual, collateral, rehabilitation, parenting skills training, and/or case management) as needed.
  • Evaluate the changing mental health needs of the youth and adjust accordingly.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices that are appropriate to meet the clinical needs of the youth and family.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to support the treatment team (mental health workers, education staff, health clinic staff, parent partners, youth advocates, families, and youth) to provide comprehensive and complex clinical care.
  • Serve as a Casa Pacifica leader in service of the mission of the agency as a provider of quality mental health treatment.
  • Assist in program development and staff training to ensure the milieu is therapeutic.
  • Attend outside training events and conferences as requested.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, County, State, and Federal government regulations to include Title 22, Division 6, and prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters within the organization with respect to personnel, operations and clients.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Education and/or Experience

Licensed Master or Doctoral Level Clinician with three to five years’ experience, preferable but not required, working with severely emotionally disturbed youth. For Doctoral level, up to 2 years of supervisory experience as a licensed psychologist.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to use various computer software and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to write comprehensive evaluations and progress notes/ reports on youth’s treatment goals.
  • Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Reasoning ability: apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems and deal with nonverbal symbolism as required.
