Wage band range $66,650.00 - $80,000.00 annually. However, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.

Under the direction of the FFA/ISFC Program Coordinator and the Director of Community Based Services, this role is responsible for conducting assessments, writing Master Treatment Plans/Service Plans, providing individual/family therapy and coordinating services for clients placed in Casa Pacifica Foster Family Agency. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of assigned clients as necessary and carrying out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it relates to individualized behavioral interventions, Safety Plans, and Plans of Care as needed at a child's home, school, or other community settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clinical needs of youth, develop treatment plans, make referrals to needed resources, and create a discharge plan for assigned clients.
  • Provide clinical services such as individual, collateral, rehabilitation, parenting skills training, and case management as appropriate to the individual needs of the youth.
  • Evaluate the changing mental health needs of the youth and adjust accordingly.
  • Utilize evidence‑based practices that are appropriate to meet the clinical needs of the youth and family.
  • Collaborate with child family specialists, FFA case managers, parent partners, families, and youth to provide comprehensive clinical care for the youth.
  • Act as liaison with placement agencies and community services and work closely with mental health and child protective services, as well as law enforcement agencies, schools, employers, health and welfare, and recreation agencies to provide coordinated care.
  • Confere with education partners regarding the behavioral or learning problems of youth and recommend methods of modifying inappropriate behavior and encouraging a positive learning experience.
  • Serve as the leader of a youth/family treatment team. In conjunction with the team, develop and implement individual clinical treatment plans and assure the integration of the clinical components into all aspects of a whole‑person, client‑centered, multi‑disciplinary approach.
  • Maintain an organized and up‑to‑date clinical chart according to county and agency guidelines. Prepare regular progress reports on each client; prepare additional correspondence related to caseload as required. Document progress notes on electronic health records.
  • Utilize community resources in providing services for children.
  • Assist youth transitioning into the community and link them to appropriate services.
  • Provide on‑call coverage on a rotating basis.
  • Provide support and training as requested for resource families and community‑based staff.
  • Conduct quarterly and discharge chart reviews.
  • May perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications

Licensed Masters level or Post‑Doctoral Psychologist with supervised professional experience, with three to five years’ experience working with severely emotionally disturbed youth.

Credentials

Must be eligible for licensure in California.
