PositionProfile
The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in the incoming and outgoing quality control of our product. The ideal candidate should have significant experience using inspection tools, writing non‑conformances, reading drawings and purchase orders, and reviewing process certifications for small mechanical, electrical, and optical components.
Responsibilities- Work with manufacturing, engineering, and operations personnel on non‑confirming product inspection
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Perform Internal audits on product as required
- Interact with business database systems to report and record inspection data
- Ensure all tools being used are within calibration
- Handle FOD and ESD sensitive material
- Gown up in a cleanroom to perform inspections as required
- Review paperwork, drawings, and specifications to ensure product is compliant to the requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector or related role
- Familiarity with image sensors and processing techniques.
- Fluent English (reading and writing)
- Competence in basic measuring tools:
Calipers, Micrometers, height gauges, etc. - Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) Standards
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and flag nonconformances
- Experience working with Optics, Electronics, and small assemblies.
- Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.
- Familiarity with AS9102 inspection reports a plus
- Current IPC‑A‑610 certification
- Experience working in an ITAR environment
Little travel is expected for this position, although some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be required.
SALARY RANGE$25.00-$40.87 hourly rate, plus participation in individual performance bonus plan.
