Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. You will be developing and verifying complex digital designs for use in spaceborne products across our commercial and defense programs. Must be a self-starter & team player who can take ownership of a project from design to deployment under a rapid pace.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Responsible for the design, implementation, and verification of embedded software and related digital designs in system-on-chip (SOC) devices as part of Lucix products
- Interface with senior engineers to implement communication protocols, data handling, and system management in an embedded ARM CORTEX processor environment
- Perform trade studies to identify functions that can be purchased as third-party intellectual property (IP) versus internal development
- Assist in creating embedded architecture, performing trade studies to determine which functions should be executed within the embedded processor, which should be implemented in programmable logic fabric, and how to interface between the two domains
- Maintain code base in the company version control system
- Develop software and hardware test fixtures to verify the functionality of the embedded code and the overall system
- Perform bench-level verification of the implemented code in the final system, and assist with test of the overall product
