Please read attached job description. Prior to submitting a substitute para educator application, you must complete the pre-screening questionnaire by CLICKING HERE . Upon completion of the questionnaire, you will receive a code that you must enter on your online application. If you have completed 48 or more semester units of college coursework from a regionally accredited college or university, (we will examine your transcripts and determine if the school is regionally accredited) we will need a copy of your OFFICIAL transcripts verifying at least 48 semester units. How to submit transcripts:
1) Emailed directly to pmartin2
2) Mailed via U.S. mail to Ventura County Office of Education Attn:
Substitutes 5189 Verdugo Way Camarillo, CA 93012 If you have NOT completed 48 or more semester units, you will need to take our written test. Selected applicants will be invited for the test. The testing date will be emailed to you if you are selected to progress to that step.

Your previous work experience does not have to be related to working with children. If you have no previous work experience, please state under the Current Employer section: I have no employment history. Please do NOT complete the Professional Reference section of the substitute para educator application. It is an EdJoin default but is NOT required for substitute para educator applications.
