Physician Medical Director

Concentra offers a one‑time $20,000 bonus paid out over the completion of two years, plus monthly and quarterly incentives to maximize earnings. As a Physician Medical Director, you will spend most of your time clinically treating patients, with the remaining time focused on quality improvements and building the center’s business with the Center Leadership Team. This role blends patient care with management skills, supporting the leader in the workplace health industry.

• Provide direct patient care in a clinic-based setting, leading by example and creating an exceptional patient experience.
• Lead in healthcare management to ensure day‑to‑day execution of the medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
• Manage clinicians, support staff, and comply with APC supervisory requirements.
• Create a professional and collaborative working environment.
• Work with leaders to identify and implement changes that ensure continuous medical clinic improvement.
• Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
• Collaborate with the medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels.
• Promote, cultivate, and exemplify Concentra values for all clinic colleagues.
• Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient and colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
• Possess financial awareness and provide input to the clinic budget and key business metrics.

• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
• Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA‑recognized specialty preferred.

• Many clinics offer working hours M‑F, 8 to 5, no nights, weekends, or holidays – plus 30+ days off per year.

Compensation range may vary from $260,000 to $310,000 depending on experience, location, and seniority.
