. Their team is expanding rapidly and they are seeking a Senior Project Manager who can own full project lifecycle execution while supporting a 24/7 operation providing emergency response, new construction, and multi‑phase utility improvements.

The Role — Senior Project Manager (Sewer & Water)
  • Lead and coordinate all phases of sewer & water construction projects from planning, scheduling, and budgeting through execution and close‑out
  • Manage PMs and field crews, ensuring safe, on‑schedule, on‑budget project delivery
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and prepare detailed scopes of work
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and municipal/industrial project requirements
  • Primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across all phases of the project
  • Oversee estimating, budgeting, procurement, and subcontract negotiations
  • Manage job cost estimates, workflow timetables, materials ordering, and inventory
  • Oversee and document change orders (review, negotiation, approvals)
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Conduct site evaluations, inspections, and QC checks throughout project lifecycle
  • Address compliance issues and maintain documentation for regulatory requirements
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of Sewer & Water Project Management experience required
  • Strong background in plumbing, utilities, and underground infrastructure preferred
Technical Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with construction management software (Foundation or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering documents & contract specs
  • Understanding of water/sewer construction methods: trenching, excavation, drilling, confined space standards, backhoe operations
