Geography Teacher - Urgently Required

We are working closely with a lovely secondary school in Calne who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their team from Easter until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging curiosity about physical and human geography, supporting students progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing positively to departmental planning and the wider school community.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across KS3 & KS4

• Encouraging critical thinking about global, environmental, and social issues

• Supporting students in developing analytical, map-reading, and fieldwork skills

• Tracking progress, providing constructive feedback, and celebrating achievement

• Contributing to a dynamic Humanities department and wider school community

We re looking for

• QTS (or ECT with strong potential) and a Geography specialism

• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level

• A commitment to inclusive, engaging, and high-quality teaching

• A positive, collaborative attitude and passion for student progress
