Job Summary:
NATIONAL REATAIL TRANSPORTATION is hiring experienced PART- TIME CDL-A Switchers (Yard Jockeys) to join our team in Fontana, CA! Become part of our legacy, because at NRS you are not a number on a list but a valued member of a family-oriented, driver-focused, logistics company!

What You’ll Do:

• Safely move trailers within the yard and between docks
• Maintain accurate trailer inventory and yard organization
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to support smooth operations

What We Offer Our Truck Drivers:

• PART-TIME
• Pay: $37/ per hour
• Average Weekly: 1,000 to $1,100
• 1st & 2nd shift available

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
• Current DOT physical certification
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
• Strong safety awareness and ability to operate vehicles in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail with commitment to following safety procedures
• Physical stamina to sit for extended periods and operate equipment safely
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

Physical Demands:

• Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and feet to operate vehicles, controls, and equipment.
• Heavy Lifting: Occasional lifting, carrying, and securing cargo, sometimes over 50 lbs.
• Extended Sitting: Long periods of sitting while operating vehicles for multiple days.
• Focus & Navigation: Continuous concentration on driving, navigation, and situational awareness.
