Immediately hiring a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver in Rainbow City, AL. The successful candidate will drive for Ryder and earn a competitive weekly pay of $1,342 or more.

• Boot allowance provided

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including verification of drug and alcohol records from the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT medical examination
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A experience:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records checks, a road test, or customer‑specific background and badging requirements.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight, and assist in loading/unloading if required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
