Job OverviewThe Landscape Technician will work closely with the Landscape Foreman and crew to complete all landscape tasks on budget and on time. They will be required to effectively follow directives from the Foreman, ensure the highest job quality, and communicate with management staff effectively.
EssentialJob Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, Red Leaf staff, and fellow crew members.
- Read and follow job site plans, work orders, and material lists.
- Conform with all directives, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Install plants, trees, shrubs, sod/grass, bark, and mulch.
- Complete irrigation installation and repairs, including timers.
- Install pea gravel, rock, and flagstone pathways.
- Installation and repair low-voltage landscape lighting.
- 2+ years of experience required in landscape construction.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Initiative to handle daily tasks and issues as they arise.
- Orientation toward teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong time management and personal accountability.
- Pride in quality of work and a strong work ethic.
- Final candidates may be subject to background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
The ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds, the ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist, grasp, use fine manipulation, reach above shoulder height, lift and stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per day), the ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold, walk on uneven ground in dusty and dirty conditions.
You may be required to work overtime, irregular or varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits- $20 - $30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
