As a Senior Appliance Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on government-furnished food preparation and serving equipment, utilizing your mechanical skills and troubleshooting expertise.

• Install, service, and repair commercial kitchen equipment and appliances
• Test and diagnose appliances using meters (wattmeter, ammeter, voltmeter)
• Mentor and train other technicians; maintain proper records and safety standards
• Attend scheduled shifts punctually
• Perform additional duties as required based on business needs

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years in commercial appliance repair
• 1-2 years formal training from CFESA or an accredited vocational program
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification
• Sanitation certification
• Certified Appliance Professional (CAP) or equivalent
