Diesel Auto Mechanic

Staffmark has partnered with a company in Fontana, CA, to offer an exciting Diesel Auto Mechanic opportunity. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team immediately and fulfill this essential role.

Schedule & Pay:

• $28 - $38 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Day Shift | 6 AM - 4:30 PM (Sunday - Wednesday) or (Wednesday - Saturday)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (ASE certifications a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
• Physically able to work in a shop environment

Job Duties:

Be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment. This role includes performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake work, tune-ups, and inspections, as well as troubleshooting engine, electrical, HVAC, and suspension systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. The mechanic replaces worn or damaged parts, completes road tests to ensure repairs are successful, and maintains accurate service records.

Work is performed in a shop environment and may include servicing trucks, small engines, and related equipment.
