Are you a driven sales leader who thrives on building relationships, elevating independent reps, and growing a respected B2B brand?

Our client, a national lighting and electrical products company with 10 locations across the U.S., is looking for a Territory Sales Manager who can strengthen market presence, and drive revenue through strategic field engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the road, connecting with distributors and showrooms, and helping reps close business — not generating leads, but cultivating and expanding them.

What You’ll Do
  • Travel 2–3 weeks per month across assigned territories to train independent sales reps, visit accounts, and support in closing opportunities.
  • Partner closely with a network of ~50 independent reps, each carrying 50–100 product lines, ensuring they are equipped, motivated, and aligned with company goals.
  • Drive sales growth by strengthening relationships with electrical distributors, lighting showrooms, and other B2B customers.
  • Host and execute trade shows, counter days, product demos, and customer meetings.
  • Monitor and manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics.
  • Represent the company brand with professionalism, product expertise, and a solutions oriented mindset.
  • Build new business through established channels — no cold lead generation required.
What You Bring
  • Required:

    Extensive experience in the lighting or electrical industry.
  • Strong understanding of lighting technologies, product categories, and market trends.
  • Proven success managing or supporting independent sales reps or multi territory sales teams.
  • A strategic, analytical approach to territory planning and sales execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a travel heavy role and manage your schedule independently.
  • Professionalism, initiative, and a passion for helping reps and customers succeed.
