What You’ll Bring

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position will assist customers, clean display cases and shelves, and clean, fill, and rotate the self‑serve displays. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends and perform heavy lifting, bending and stooping for long periods of time. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
