Job Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials based on quality standards;
• Inspect production parts in series or by sampling (dimensional measurement, functionality by jigs, comparison to specifications, pressure tests, etc.) using appropriate methods;
• Coordinate laboratory tests (Spectrometer / traction machine / Durometer, CMM) according to quality standards;
• Maintain records and enter data such as the number of defective products per day into the Fidelio database;
• Monitor the use of metrology equipment/tools and ensure calibration to ensure it is functional and well maintained and eliminate that which does not meet requirements;
• Prepare data for reports to the Director responsible for quality;
• Participation in the daily production meeting.

• Experience as a quality inspector or similar position;
• Strong attention to detail and results-oriented approach;
• Responsible and trustworthy;
• Knowledge of spectrometer and traction machines (asset);
• In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies;
• Knowledge in the foundry (August);
• Quality control certification is an important asset (ISO 9001, etc.);
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Fidelio.
