The Pricing Services team is responsible for developing and maintaining the systems that support Opendoor’s pricing engine. The team builds backend services in Go that implement pricing algorithms and expose APIs for internal and external consumers. These services process and analyze large volumes of data stored in Postgre
SQL databases. The team also develops internal web applications using React and Type Script for pricing operations, analytics, and workflow management.
Development is organized around cross-functional projects that require coordination with engineering, data science, and product management. Work involves end-to-end ownership, from system design and implementation to code review and operational support.
All systems are deployed on Linux and rely on a stack that includes Go, Postgre
SQL, Type Script, React, Kafka for streaming, Redis for caching, BPMN for workflow, and gRPC for service communication.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Golang, SQL, and Type Script/Java script, as well as proficiency with React.
What Youll Do- Implement and maintain backend pricing algorithms and services in Go
- Write and optimize SQL queries for large data sets in PostgreSQL
- Build and update React-based UIs using Type Script
- Integrate pricing services with Opendoors main platform
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting
- 1+ years Fullstack software development (production experience)

The base pay range for this position is $143,400-$196,900 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits including unlimited PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
