The Director of Specialty Pharmacy Operations manages all operational aspects of the specialty pharmacy and specialty pharmacy teams. The Director of Specialty Pharmacy Operations is responsible for implementing departmental policies relevant to specialty pharmacies, for assisting in planning and implementing new concepts in drug distribution and control per established policy and accepted standards of proper pharmacy practice.
Minimum Requirements- Current California Pharmacy licensure preferred, MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmacy or related healthcare is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with the underserved community and familiarity with issues of particular relevance to the medically underserved preferred.
- Bilingual is English/Spanish preferred.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
