Local Radius is 50 miles - please reach out to AM for local rate SCREEN FOR TRACHS/VENTS EXPERIENCE!! Patient Diagnoses: COPD/TRAUMA/STROKE/CVA/CANCER/DYSPHGIA RN works as team lead that is why and they have 22 patients. LVNs /CNAs/RTs provide the direct care. This is a charge nurse role and have 3-4 LVNs, 3-4 CNA's. RN's complete care assessments only on change of condition, not done every day.
RN's are are responsible working with RT on Vent and Trachs. RN reports abnormal labs, attends phone calls with family/physician as appropriate 5-6 RNs in this specific role for the facility. Special Procedures/Unit Details: TRACH/VENT/GT/NGT/WOUNDS/COLOSTOMY/ ORGAN TRANSPLANT
-RN functions as team lead/charge nurse role and have about 20 patients. LVNs/CNAs/RTs provide direct care.
-LVNs have 7 patients - pass all medications (except IVs) and do treatments (wound care, G-tube care, etc.), they can suction non-vented patients
-CNAs have 8-9 patients each RTs 24 hours and are assigned 12-15 patients.
