RN - MedSurg

The Acute Care Charge Nurse reports to the Acute Care Nursing Manager and ensures the delivery of professional care to the assigned patient population. The Charge Nurse utilizes the nursing process and continuous quality improvement principles while collaborating with the healthcare team.

• Supervise all department staff and assign duties.
• Ensure work meets standards for accuracy, organization, and policy compliance.
• Oversee the department's daily operations.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide backup support to the Emergency Department (ED) as needed.
• Maintain the highest level of patient care at all times.

• Current Registered Nurse License in California.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• A minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, with one (1) year of leadership experience.
• Typing skills and general computer experience required.
• Time management and organizational skills essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
