Job Summary:
" Plumas District Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room / Perioperative team. The RN will play a key role in providing patient-centered care throughout all phases of surgeryi 1⁄2pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative. This position includes both circulating and scrub responsibilities, assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers, preparing and maintaining the sterile field, supporting patient recovery, and ensuring safe, efficient surgical care.
Information
- Monday-Friday, 8 hour days
- On Call Required
- Minimum 2 weekends/month of call plus call during the week
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Active California RN License
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong knowledge of perioperative standards and sterile technique
- 1+ year of operating room / surgical nursing experience
- Experience in circulating and/or scrubbing roles
- Background in acute care or outpatient surgery centers
