Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Skilled Nursing Facility | Contract
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role is ideal for LVNs with strong long-term care experience who are confident in medication administration, resident care coordination, and team supervision.

Day Shift – Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Administer medications and provide direct patient care in accordance with care plans
- Ensure continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication
- Supervise and support CNAs and other support staff
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Utilize electronic medical records accurately and efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of skilled nursing or long-term care experience (required)
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (Point Click Care experience preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to pass required nursing competency/medical testing
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Professional, respectful, and collaborative approach to patient care
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
