Clinical Supervisor

Overview

Provides oversight of the care/services furnished by employees to Interim Health Care patients and clients. Collaborates with the Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) to develop and implement processes to ensure the efficient and effective achievement of patient outcomes in accordance with physician orders, applicable law and regulations, accepted standards of clinical practice, payor requirements and Interim Health Care policies and procedures.

• Supervises, evaluates, motivates, and trains nursing team
• Responsible for training and supervising nursing team
• Coordinate training/education to enable nursing team to achieve assigned goals
• Use clinical decision making to provide oversight and guidance to the healthcare team to efficiently and effectively manage the assigned patient population
• Assist another RN Nursing Supervisor with coordinating patient care and referrals based on territory
• Assure that patient needs are continually assessed
• Contribute to business growth by presenting information, education and support to external customers as requested

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the state in which employed. License is active and in good standing.
• Prefer at least two (2) years of experience as a home health RN and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
