Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for a Meat & Seafood Manager to lead our team and ensure high quality, customer focus, and operational excellence.

• Plan, order, prepare cutting lists, and process meat to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one‑on‑one development discussions; recommend merit increases via the bi‑annual performance review process.
• Attend and participate in in‑store meetings.
• Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Exercise independent judgment to address Team Member concerns.
• Document corrective actions when needed, collaborating with business and HR partners to manage performance, including coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination.
• Create and adjust schedules and staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
• Lead a team that collaborates to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience your customers will receive.
• Serve as a Key Carrier for the store and/or act as a Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age and possess a basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of meat cutting experience in the grocery or restaurant industry, including leadership experience.
• Be capable of standing for up to 4 hours continuously and work an 8‑hour shift; walk up to 2 miles per 8 hours.
• Work inside a temperature‑controlled area.
• Possess good vision required for using sharp knives, band saw, grinder, sausage maker, box cutter, wrapping machine, and tenderizer.
• Lift/carry products horizontally/vertically between 25 to 90 lbs., from 4″ to 60″, a distance up to 10 feet for 20 hours.
• Use a pallet jack to move pallets horizontally up to 500 lbs., requiring a force of up to 85 lbs., a distance up to 100 feet for up to 5 hours.
• Horizontally move racks of products weighing up to 70 lbs., requiring a force up to 25 lbs., for a distance up to 50 feet for up to 10 hours.
• Move tables weighing up to 70 lbs., requiring a force greater than 35 lbs., a distance up to 2 feet for up to 1 hour.
• Work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward Team Members and customers.

The pay range for this position is $23.30 – $37.30 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
