3rd Shift QC Lab Tech

Overview

3rd Shift QC Lab Tech needs 4 years experience

• High school diploma/GED and experience working in a chemical laboratory preferred.
• Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Tuesday through Saturday.
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel tabling and charting; SAP and other database experience preferred.
• Familiar with analytical equipment, wet chemistry techniques, and/or mechanical testing apparatuses.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and ability to drive projects to desired results.
• Ability to work on requested shift. Training rotations may occur on a different shift than the application states and can take 1–3 months to complete.

• Complies with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures and regulations.
• Conducts all laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of lab equipment, 5S, etc.
• Perform all work in strict adherence to QC standard laboratory procedures (SLPs).
• Reviews and provides recommended improvements to QC standard laboratory procedures (SLPs).
• Inspection and testing of incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to defined instructions, procedures and methods.
• Executes lab testing and generates test data, documentation and lab reports.
• Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcome.
• Provides support for projects assigned by Engineers and/or Supervisors.
• Assists in maintaining project timelines.
• Employs basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates.
