Material Technician, 2nd Shift

Material Technician, 2nd Shift, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Majestic Steel is seeking a Packager (Material Technician) to join our production team on the 2nd shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all materials are handled with precision, care, and meet quality standards.

• Salary Range: $18.75 - $22.00 an hour (DOE). Eligible for more based on experience.
• Hours:
  
  Monday – Friday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm, with overtime as required.

• Package materials: review order instructions, label, and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely: utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain quality and safety: identify and report any damage or quality issues; advocate for safety by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support team efforts: work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Experience:
  
  Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required.
• Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, walk, climb, and bend for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of manufacturing and/or warehouse experience (desired not required).
• Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval.
