Snowline Engineering is a state-of-the-art precision machining facility located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada just 20 minutes outside of Sacramento. General Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Assembler to interpret blueprints and other documentation to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies. This position will verify specifications using various measuring tools and perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace as well as document and troubleshoot assemblies as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares work to be assembled utilizing assembly instructions, blueprints, market lists, etc.
  • Have to carefully test the partly assembled parts before performing the final assembling.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring or checking parts to be assembled.
  • Follow the targets and deadlines set for jobs.
  • Follow instructions written and/or verbal.
  • Must follow all the safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules and regulations while assembling.
  • Document and troubleshoot assemblies as required.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
  • Good math and analytical skills. Strong teamwork skills
  • Must be organized and know how to maintain equipment.
  • Need to have excellent manual dexterity and should be able to work with small, detailed objects.
  • High school diploma or GED.
