Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor has the all-encompassing responsibility to ensure all product supply is available for the packing department, meets or exceeds all customer or CWS standard specifications and is manufactured in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Duties:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the following:

• Overseeing the daily operations, food safety initiatives, employee direction, and budget analysis/performance of production areas.
• Direct supervision of these areas in accordance with Company Organizational Chart.
• Facilitating and enforcing GMP’s, HACCP, Food Safety Programs/Initiatives and Employee Safety Program as required by CWS and regulatory authorities.
• Increasing the value and efficiency of each of the areas indicated above and communicating any areas of concern to his supervisor.
• Working in cooperation with The Operations and Production Managers to maximize all products to their highest value.
• Attend all meetings as necessary to perform and implement responsibilities effectively, including monthly budget meetings, monthly safety meetings, and thrive weekly productions meetings.
• Always maintain a respectful and professional demeanor.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
• Report any GMP violations to Packing Supervisor.
• Ensure that your steward ships of responsibility are reasonably productive and always organized
• Effective communication, including speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
• Good leadership and training skills
• Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Advanced mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make complex repairs
• Great time management
• Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operations issues
