Position: Mill CNC Programmer
Location: Cameron Park, CA
Status: Full Time
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation and Benefits- $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, depending on experience

Develop NC programs for milling machines. Develop solid models using Solid Works software. Design fixturing and work holding to facilitate manufacturing. Read and interpret blueprints and create CNC programs with CAD/CAM software and determine sequence of operation to manufacture parts. Utilize inspection equipment to ensure the accuracy of their work. Research the latest technologies to recommend cost saving processes into the environment.
QualificationsEducation / Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 8-10 years of similar experience
- Proficient with programming, design and manufacturing software
- Mori Seiki Esprit Cam software experience highly desirable
- Proficient at designing and implementing Work-holding and Fixturing for medium to high volume production
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Communicates professionally with coworkers and management
Skill Level Knowledge Requirements:
- Read and interpret blueprints and create CNC programs
- Reduce machine cycle time through process improvement
- Proficient with Solid Works and Gibbs
CAM or other Tier 1 CAM software - Proficient at designing and implementing work holding and fixturing
- Working knowledge of machine characteristics of ferrous and non-ferrous materials
- Proficient at using inspection equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to research, understand and implement new technologies for possible cost saving and process improvements
- Able to create solid models, operations sheets, tools and fixture designs
- Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications
