Delta Research an Aerospace company is an AS9100 and ISO
9001 registered facility which manufactures Gear Products, Prototype/ Production, and Transmission Builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.

Tasks:
  • CMM Inspection - Support the Quality and Manufacturing departments with 1st Piece Inspection,
  • In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection of finished parts.
  • Use of manual handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, gages and other inspection equipment while CMM is running longer cycles times.
  • Program next job(s) in line while CMM is checking parts.
  • Perform layout inspections, first piece approvals, in-process inspections, and other aspects of inspection through-out the manufacturing process.
  • Other quality related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of GD&T
  • Prior CMM Operator Experience
  • CMM Operator and / or Programming experience using Open DMIS.
  • Experience in a job shop or a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Inspection tools and best practices.
  • Positive, can do, attitude with great attendance.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
