Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a temporary Cannabis Cultivation Tech to work in their facility in Northridge, California. You should be eager to be a part of a thriving Cannabis company. You have a positive attitude, work ethic and are very attentive to details. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to bring your experience working with plants and gain more experience working specifically with cannabis plants.

This will be a 2 week assignment and they would like someone to start as soon as possible.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

As a Cultivation Tech, you will be focused on assisting Head Growers and Assistant Growers with a variety of tasks with the cannabis plants in an indoor grow environment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to manicuring, monitoring health of plants, pruning, watering, planting, trimming, moving plants, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. You must have the ability to wear a N95 mask while around cannabis product and be around plant pollen for an 8-hour period of time.

You bring with you the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. You are known for your effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task, and are always able to arrive on time and willing to give 100%. You also have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist AND lift plants and equipment up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of California
• Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours/day
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with your hands
• Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to take direction
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Proven work ethic and reliable transportation
• Ability to arrive on time
• Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
• Ability to be around cleaning agents

Preferred Qualifications:

-2+ months of cannabis cultivation experience

Pay Rate: $18/hour
