Assistant Manager – Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc.

Austin, TX • $50,000 – $97,000
• Full-time
• Mid‑Senior level

Responsibilities
  • Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and monthly close‑out reports; process invoices and payables.
  • Operate property‑management software, ensuring data integrity through correct entries, updates, and backups.
  • Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees; communicate with residents, implement collection procedures, and enforce leases to maximize revenue.
  • Review and submit vendor, contractor, and service‑provider invoices for payment, reconciling work performed, coding charges to appropriate Chart of Accounts, and managing communication among vendor, accounting, and client/owner.
  • Follow company evictions procedures, issue proper notice, represent the community in court hearings and eviction proceedings.
  • Process resident move‑outs by reviewing lease terms and notice requirements, applying deposit and lease‑cancellation fees when applicable, and disbursing disposition according to established procedures and legal requirements.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests promptly and resolving service issues.
  • Act as on‑site supervisor in the absence of the community manager, organizing and delegating daily work, coordinating maintenance and make‑ready tasks, and managing community operations in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with leasing: show apartments to prospects, follow up, process applications, and prepare lease and move‑in documents.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong math skills; bilingual preferred.

Drivers license required.
