Automotive Parts Manager
Sager Ford is looking for a new Parts Manager. The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory control, strong vendor relationships, and excellent customer and technician support. This individual will lead a small but dedicated team while maintaining profitability and ensuring the department operates in line with dealership goals.

- Oversee all day-to-day operations within the parts department
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and special orders to ensure parts availability and control costs
- Limiting and maintaining a low parts obsolescence level on parts with no sales over twelve months and to current industry guidelines
- Maintain manufacturer and vendor relationships for Ford
- Accurately price, order, and receive parts using OEM systems and dealership DMS
- Track and manage parts returns, cores, and warranty documentation
- Support the service department by ensuring timely delivery of needed parts
- Proper scrapping and destruction of all obsolete parts deemed “not returnable” and written off for tax purposes.
- Monitor department financial performance, including gross profit and expense control
- Train, coach, and evaluate parts team members to ensure excellent performance and customer satisfaction
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe parts storage and work areas
- Collaborate with management to create department goals, sales initiatives, and operational improvements
- 3+ years of dealership parts experience (management or assistant management experience required)
- Strong knowledge of Ford parts systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional, customer-focused demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
