Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Facility Maintenance
Job Summary
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day maintenance and custodial activities for the manufacturing operation. This role involves maintaining the physical condition of the operations including oversight of preventative maintenance programs, maintaining inventory parts, supervising personnel, and prioritizing work orders.
What a typical day looks like:- Prioritize work orders, assign tasks, and follow up on tasks to ensure the facility and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
- Minimize cost of downtime of equipment while maximizing production run time.
- Dedicated to supporting the team by working in a customer-focused manner
- Maintains and improves the preventative maintenance program and ensures that preventative maintenance schedule is followed accordingly.
- Maintains inventory, storage, and distribution of related equipment; orders supplies as needed for any repairs.
- Arranges service by vendors to repair or replace defective machinery.
- Review and update written maintenance policies and procedures.
- Inspects and performs maintenance on the facility and equipment, as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in maintenance management with experience in supervision.
- Experience managing a production facility and familiarity of equipment, including Press Brakes, Punch Presses, Cranes, Forklifts, etc. Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and solve them independently.
- Advanced knowledge and experience related to electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and carpentry.
- Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
- Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric minded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of within the organization, as well as external customers.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.

Pay Range (Applicable to California) $71,500.00 USD - $98,300.00 USD Annual
