The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is currently recruiting for one (1) full-time 2nd Shift Custodian position at Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, CT.
Position Highlights:
Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, CT Full-time | 2nd Shift | 37.5 Hours per week Monday – Friday | 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm.

In your role as a Custodian, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform custodial tasks and maintenance of areas such as classrooms, offices, auditoriums, wards, kitchens, dining rooms and lavatories including outdoor areas (i.e. trash around buildings)
- Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax and polish floors, shampoo carpets using appropriate equipment such as floor polishers and buffers
- Wash, dust and polish glass including windows, woodwork, walls, furniture and metal equipment
- Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling in the appropriate containers
- Report needs for repairs;
Perform minor maintenance;
Inspect building for damage and report conditions to supervisor - Perform related duties as required
