Technician- RV Park, Maintenance

Job Overview

The Technician – RV Park Maintenance at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the RV Park grounds, landscape, and facilities. The role requires hands‑on mechanical, electrical, irrigation, kitchen, and laundry equipment repair, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate a variety of maintenance equipment.

• Ensure outstanding guest service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
• Assist guests with RV utility and cable services.
• Clean and maintain trash and recycle receptacles, windows, mirrors, restrooms, showers, sidewalks, pathways, and paved areas using brooms, shovels, and pressure washers.
• Test and maintain pool chemistry (chlorine and pH) and add chemicals when needed.
• Inspect, test, and perform general maintenance on machinery and equipment, providing lubrication, changing parts, and assembling or moving items as needed.
• Operate power washers, steam cleaners, power hand tools, trimmers, lawnmowers, compact utility tractors, and other equipment as required.
• Climb ladders and use hand tools to clean vents, lights, and service areas, changing lights as needed.
• Operate tractors, aerial lifts, and powered industrial lift trucks as needed, including towing and backing up trailers.
• Immediately report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Clean, sand, wax, vacuum, and protect floors and carpets; grade terrain; apply fertilizers; seed and sodd lawns; transplant shrubs and plants; mow, trim, and clean lawns and grounds; trim shrubs; spray trees and shrubs; build concrete borders and place decorative stone; dig trenches and install drain tiles; repair concrete and asphalt walks and driveways.

• Related experience and training in maintenance/construction field.
• 1‑5 years of landscaping experience preferred.

• Jackson Rancheria Gaming License required.
• California Class C Driver’s license required; vehicle must be insurable through JRCR’s Agent.
• Operator’s certifications for aerial lifts and powered industrial lift trucks required; next available onsite class (A California Driver’s License required for equipment training).

Pay range $21.00 – $27.30 per hour.

• Shift Differential:
  Non‑Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.

This is not a smoke‑free workplace. Although we employ state‑of‑the‑art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
