Parks & Rec Facility Attendant (Part Time)

Job Type: Part Time

Salary: $15/hour

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties across the facility, including but not limited to restrooms, appliances, and windows.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and litter throughout the premises.
• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and breaking down event setups.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Help with cleaning, buffing, and shampooing floors and carpets.
• Support grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing lawns, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
• Follow all safety guidelines and departmental procedures while performing tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members or work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or private information.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with both staff and guests.
• Operate job-related equipment such as computers, telephones, and various software programs.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Parks and Recreation Director or their designee.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related experience is preferred.
• Must successfully pass a post‑offer background check and physical exam.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for occasional overtime, weekend, and evening hours as needed.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors as weather permits.
• Exposure to varying levels of noise, dust, fumes, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations.
