Duties Help
* You will support a cybersecurity program consisting of personnel from across the command, policies and programs, various agencies, and numerous program offices.
* You will serve as a technical authority and advise the Commanding Officer on Collateral Risk Management Framework (RMF) matters, both technical and operational, involving the security of information systems (IS) under their purview.
* You will manage schedules across multiple programs with competing priorities and varying complexities, ensuring timely completion of objectives.
* You will develop policies and programs for Collateral Information Systems, such as Continuous Monitoring, Access Control, Incident Response, Data-at-Rest, data transfer, system maintenance, templates for required artifacts, and training. Requirements Help Conditions of employment

* Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

* Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
* Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 722, proficiency level Advanced. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a CISSP, CISM, CAP, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification at IAM Level III or IASAE Level III. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:
Conducting cyber self-inspections to ensure adherence to command-wide policies and communicates deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to program and command leadership
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services;
is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:

3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:
Communicating complex technical concepts in simple language to diverse audiences, including engineers, physicists, program managers, external stakeholders, and command leadership
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:
