Desktop Support Technician * Temp-to-Perm

Overview

Our client, a mutual benefit corporation and health plan provider, seeks an accomplished Desktop Support Technician.

Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship.

Location:

El Dorado Hills, CA 95762

Duration: 3 months contract with possibility of extension or conversion to FTE.

• Work Hours:
  
  40 hours per week, 8:00am-5:00pm.
• Position may extend or convert to FTE role down the line.

• Assist in software and hardware life cycle management processes including research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation.
• Setup new users, including desktop configuration, email accounts, LDAP accounts, VPN accounts.
• Support employees, both local and remote, with Desktop issues, account issues, access to various internal services.
• Troubleshoot software issues on employees' desktops/laptops.

• Associate's degree in a technical field.
• Knowledge of Windows OS.
• Experience with desktop installations and configurations.
• Troubleshooting desktop and mobile devices.
• Nice to have:
  Active Directory experience.
