Resources Manager – Fontana, CA (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a hands‑on Human Resources Manager to partner with business leaders and front‑line teams to build a high‑performing workforce and a strong, values‑driven culture at our Fontana manufacturing site. You will design and execute HR strategies for recruiting, onboarding, development, engagement and retention, and be a visible, trusted member of the plant leadership team.

What You Will Do:
  • Partner with leaders and employees to understand business needs and develop people strategies.
  • Use data and insight to guide decisions and challenge the status quo.
  • Design and implement programs for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development and retention.
  • Coach leaders and teams to improve effectiveness and achieve business goals.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, performance improvement plans, and progressive discipline as appropriate.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with federal, state and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Improve HR processes and service levels using data and problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Collaborate with operations on workforce planning, safety and staffing.
  • Be visible on the manufacturing floor and engaged with operations daily.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations or related field.
  • 7–10 years of HR experience, with prior people‑management experience.
  • Strong employee relations experience in a manufacturing or operations environment preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, performance management, coaching, compensation, learning & development and talent management.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate large, complex change to all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable balancing hands‑on execution with strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
