Compensation: $100,000 – $135,000 annually
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution
- Develop and implement best practices to improve payroll efficiency and controls
- Oversee payroll accounting, transactions, and reporting activities
- Assist with payroll calculations, deductions, benefits, wage garnishments, tax filings, and child support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records
- Prepare employee wage summaries, including earnings, taxes, deductions, leave balances, retirement, and benefits
- Support payroll tax calculations and filings; ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries
- Review existing payroll procedures and recommend process improvements
- Analyze payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly and effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
