Tasting Room Manager

Indian Rock Vineyards is a family owned and operated "Estate" winery located in Murphys, CA.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tasting Room Manager. The position is located in Murphys, CA. The Tasting Room Manager will oversee the daily operations of the tasting room, ensure exceptional customer experiences, manage staff schedules, and engage with customers to promote wine education and appreciation. Additional responsibilities include supporting wine sales, coordinating wine tasting events, managing the wine club, maintaining the display and organization of the tasting room, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

The manager will serve as a representative of Indian Rock, fostering customer loyalty and promoting the company’s offerings. The role requires the manager to be in the tasting room from 10a - 6p Thursday - Sunday.

• Experience and expertise in Wine Sales and Wine Tasting
• Proficiency in Wine Education and delivering exceptional Customer Service
• Strong skills in Inventory Management and organizational tasks
• A passion for wine and an understanding of the wine industry
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage a team effectively and maintain a friendly, professional environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings and holiday Mondays
• Previous experience in a tasting room or hospitality setting is a plus
• Knowledge of local and regional wines is an advantage
• Proficient in vinSUITE, Excel, Quick Books and inventory management
